Meet Beaufort County's home organization expert, standing by to
reduce clutter, help with money matters and keep your household on track!

About me, Roxanne Cheney, your home organizer and administrator:

I became an organizational expert during 26 years in the Marine Corps. As a retired Colonel, I'm trained, equipped, and organized to respond to an infinite array of contingencies, and I remain committed to relentless pursuit of excellence in all endeavors - including organizing your home!

In 2009, I helped resurrect a locally-owned professional organizing company, Clutter Management. In January 2010, I purchased the business and, with my new company -- Roxanne Cheney, LLC --
I've expanded my role from "professional organizer" to "home management specialist."
I am the ideal resource for busy individuals and families who can't (or don't want to) do all the things required to maintain an efficient household.

As your personal assistant and guide, I'll help you simplify, coordinate and organize things in your home to create a more peaceful and productive environment.

Why choose me for your household needs?

  1. You can expect the same concern, respect, and caring attitude that I deliver to my own mother, who relies on me for organizing and managing her daily household affairs and finances.

I believe life is better when you own your possessions, instead of allowing your possessions to own you. I am considerate, respectful and compassionate while helping you purge, process, and put things away. No area is too daunting for me to handle! I've helped create systems for even the most scattered souls.

  2. You can count on my integrity, professionalism and exceptional service.

    • I am a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO).

    • I received my Bachelors in Elementary & Special Education from Old Dominion University and a Masters in Human Resources Management from Pepperdine University.

    • I attended several military schools during my Marine Corps service, capping my professional military education as a Federal Executive Fellow at The Brookings Institution.
  3. Your neighbors are very pleased with my work! After working with me, my clients -- your neighbors in Beaufort County and elsewhere -- report a boost in their physical and psychological well-being. They enjoy a sense of serenity and a renewed sense of purpose. Not only do their homes and schedules run more smoothly, but they are more focused, motivated, and productive.
"Roxanne, I don't know how to appropriately thank you .... a thousand times over!"
- Diana M, Cincinnati, OH
I'd like to enrich your life by providing the same benefits to you.

I'm committed to serving our community. One way I do that is by helping maintain The Lending Room, a volunteer community service that loans medical and rehabilitation equipment at no charge to those who need it. We keep a supply of walkers, canes, crutches, shower chairs, bedside commodes, and wheelchairs -- but demand often exceeds supply.

The storage facility is in the back of the HELP of Beaufort building at 1910 Baggett St. (but we are not affiliated with that organization). We do not keep regular hours; if you need to borrow (or wish to donate) an item, contact me at 843-252-1118 or one of my colleagues at 843-524-2554 to coordinate pick-up or drop-off.
I am also a Deacon at First Presbyterian Church of Beaufort and a proud member of the international association of Faithful Organizers.
